If it is geographically possible, a meeting is arranged where many photos are taken. Together we select one to be used as a starting point for the portrait. The aim is to capture an interesting pose and composition. The painting is inspired by this photo and interpreted in oil paint on canvas in the studio.
Commissions from abroad are created by photos sent via email.
A non-returnable deposit of £10 is required. The remainder payable on completion and approval.

Ali works in oil paints and mixed media, creating narrative paintings, landscape paintings, figurative paintings and portraits.

Her PORTRAITS observe and interpret with a compassionate eye, communicating energy and the unique character of each sitter, be they human or animal.

 

Portraits of people and pets can be commissioned. Quotations are available on request. All Artwork is for sale through PayPal. Prices range from £50 to £900, with many between £100 and £300. Postage and Packing is extra and charged at National or International rates.
