If it is geographically possible, a meeting is arranged where many photos are taken. One is selected as a starting point for the portrait. The aim is to capture an interesting pose and composition. The painting is inspired by this photo and interpreted in oil paint on canvas in the studio.
Commissions from abroad and far away are created by photos sent via email.

Ali works in oil paints and mixed media, creating narrative paintings, landscape paintings, figurative paintings and portraits.

Portraits of people and pets can be commissioned. Quotations are available on request. All Artwork is for sale through PayPal. Prices range from £50 to £900, with many between £100 and £300. Postage and Packing is extra and charged at National or International rates.
